Spring looks busy. Farmer's markets. A big annual festival. A couple of appearances at Ashkenaz, our favorite Bay Area dance venue. And more to come!

On April 14, Sauce Piquante will be playing from 9-1 at the Moraga Farmer's Market. Should be lovely!

On April 27, Blair and Steve (accordionist and fiddler with Sauce Piquante) will be joining the Cajun-Zydeco All Stars at Ashkenaz, at a benefit for the employees who were hurt in last month's robbery. They are both recovering and the community around this beloved community center will continue to flourish. Stay tuned for details.

On May 12, we'll be playing at The Kensington Farmer's Market. This is a new venue for us and one of the nicest outdoor markets we've seen! Market opens at 10. We'll be playing from 11:30 to 2.

On May 14, the full band will be back at our favorite dance venue: Ashkenaz, Berkeley's legendary world music club. Dance lesson at 8, music 8:30-11.

On May 19, it's time for one of the SF Bay Area's biggest outdoor street festivals. Yes, it's Campbell's annual Boogie on the Bayou Festival. Once again, Sauce Piquante will be on the Main Stage, from 11-1:45. And we'll have a special treat: our Cajun musician friend Bobby Michot, who divides his time between his home in Louisiana and France, will be sitting in with us!

And finally, on May 30 we'll be returning to the Kensington Circus Pub, playing from 8-11.

Next up: The Milk Bar in SF, Farmers' Markets in Kensington and San Leandro, with more summmer fun to come!
